In the Better Boundaries Workshop you’ll learn: – The 7 Domains of Boundaries, what boundaries are and are not – How to craft and articulate a boundary (for any situation, personal or professional) – How to recognize and respond when a boundary is crossed (whether you’ve already stated it or not) – How to embody a boundary and fully mean it (without the need of any heightened stress, overassertiveness, or raised voice) – Design a personal strategy for practicing a boundary you’re currently working with or would like to set.
Please note: This workshop is a combination of seated facilitation-style learning as well as participatory experiential workshop. Participants will spend half the workshop interacting while seated (and eating lunch if they choose), and the other half of the workshop on their feet exploring physical practices that will support them in creating self-awareness and embodying a boundary. All physical practice will be non-athletic and open to bodies of all abilities. Participants will be encouraged to adapt the movements and postures to suit their range and capacity of movement.
